As a self-shooting Director/Producer, Beatrix makes internationally award-winning documentary films & social media videos. 

Beatrix has extensive experience in international co-production & works as an Executive Producer & mentor to other film-makers.

She excels in intimate & epic story-telling. 

Her curiosity digs deep into subjects to hone the angle to make a story accessible to a wide audience. 

She constantly explores style, tone & technique to open stories in a fresh way & enable contributors to share their home truths & ideas. 

She works within & leads production teams to reliably deliver quality projects on budget & on schedule.

Born in America, she grew up on the edge of the Pennines in North West England.  She graduated from the School of Film & Television in Manchester with a Special Commendation then worked as a Script Editor & Production Co-Ordinator on drama series & feature films in London. 

After attending EAVE, she worked throughout Europe as a Screenwriter & Producer with Finnish Director Pekka Lehto.  Their films won many prizes & were distributed worldwide.

Beatrix serves on & chairs funding panels, juries and advisory boards.
